Do you Know 3 Cups of Coffee a Day Reduce the Risk of Liver Cancer:

A research which was done by Italian researchers showed that three cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of liver cancer by 50%. It is the sixth most common disease and the third most common cause of death.

According to the author of the latest survey, Dr. Carlo La Vecchia, of the Institute for Pharmacological Research “Mario Negro” in Milan, the experiments that were made have confirmed that coffee can affect very positively on human health.

The coffee can be a reliable friend in the fight against the most common cancer disease on the liver – hepatocellular carcinoma. In order to reach this conclusion, the scientists have done an analysis of articles published between 1996 and 2012, involving a total of 3153 cases.

It has been determined that the primary liver cancer can be prevented by vaccination against hepatitis B, control of the transmission of hepatitis C and by reducing the alcohol consumption. If these three steps are followed, the liver cancer can be prevented by 90%.

The scientists from the Faculty of Epidemiology on the National University of Singapore consider that two of the oils found in coffee beans protect the liver. The research was initiated in 1993, and it involved more than 63 000 Chinese people – men and women, at the age between 45 and 74 years.

This is the age that is considered to be at the highest risk for developing liver cancer, and additionally, it is proven that the caffeine drink has the ability to prevent diabetes.

The coffee reduces the blood sugar level and thus reduces the risk of developing diabetes type 2. However, the effect of the drink depends on the gender, the age and the geographic location of the people.

In 2008 a certain research conducted among people who drink coffee regularly, has shown that four or more cups of this drink a day can reduce the risk of diabetes by 30%.

However, many experts warn that you should not exaggerate with the caffeine drink, because the excessive amounts of it can harm the organism.
